Hot Rods and Harleys & the Union County Arts Center Present Why We Ride Bike Night

You may have heard about the movie "Why We Ride," released last year.

According to the movie website, "Why We Ride is a story about who we are. Individuals with a desire to dream, discover and explore. From a kid’s dream come true, to a retiree’s return to freedom. From a family riding together on the sand dunes, to hundreds of choppers carving through the canyons – the bond is the same. It’s about the passion of the riders and the soul of their machines."

You may have already seen the movie - you may even already own the DVD.

Or, you might not have heard of it at all.  (In that case, check out the trailer!)

WHY WE RIDE - The Official Theatrical Trailer from WHY WE RIDE FILM on Vimeo.

But this movie isn't only for people who ride.  It's for people who love people who ride.  It's for people who might ride someday.  It's for people who just plain don't understand, and short of riding yourself, it's your best chance of understanding.

If you already ride, if you already know why YOU ride, it's an opportunity to share your passion with a friend who may not understand why you get up at 7am on a cool Sunday morning, just to get your face in the wind for a few early hours of "therapy."

So while you could watch it at home, the Bike Night at the Union County Performing Arts Center won't be like watching it in your living room.  You'll be surrounded by people who understand the answer to the title question.  For the price of a ticket, you get 2 hours of live music by Raze the Bar, barbecue, beverages, and hanging out with other bikers - and then you get to see the Why We Ride movie on the big screen.  And hey, bring a friend.  :)

Join us Thursday, May 8 at 6pm for a celebration of riding.  Advance tickets are recommended, and are available at the UCPAC Box Office, online at www.ucpac.org, or in person at Liberty Harley-Davidson.
